The Marsay House - Beverley

The site is located in the historic market town of Beverley site of the medieval minster

The property consisted of:

Three listed cottages

A shop until facing the high street with a flat above

A part completed steel frame

The project was to convert the listed buildings and steel frame into a modern home. The listed cottages were converted to house:

On the ground floor;

A media room

Kitchen

Dining area

On the first floor

Master bedroom

Master bathroom

Dressing room

The steel frame was converted to accommodate two additional bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a garage, utility room and sitting room.

Each side of the house was connected by a glass atrium that allowed light into the centre of the house and exposed the listed cottages and allowed view towards the minster.
